Partnerský program

Purpose

The Czech-Korea Partnering Program provides practical pathways for Czech companies that may find it difficult to participate independently in tenders. Through joint ventures, subcontracting, and other cooperative arrangements with Korean industries, the program enables broader and more effective participation in the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant Project.

The program promotes proactive partnerships that create mutual benefits by combining technical and manufacturing strengths, sharing expertise, and expanding participation opportunities within the project.

The program lays the foundation for long-term partnerships, with the potential to expand to future and international projects.

Definition and Details of the Czech-Korea Partnering Program

What is the Czech-Korea Partnering Program?

☼ The program is a collaboration platform that helps connect the technological capabilities and market demand of Czech and Korean companies, supporting the development of various industrial collaboration models, such as subcontracting, joint manufacturing, joint venture, technology transfer, and joint research and development (R&D).

Types of Industry Collaboration Models

☼ Joint Venture
A new legal entity established through joint investment by companies to participate in the Dukovany project

☼ Subcontracting
A subcontracting arrangement in which a Czech or Korean company, having secured a contract for construction, manufacturing, or maintenance work in the Dukovany project, subcontracts part of the work to another cooperating company

☼ Joint Manufacturing (Czechia-led / Korea-led)
A collaboration model in which two companies combine their technologies, facilities, and manufacturing capabilities to divide and jointly manufacture equipment and materials

☼ Technology Transfer
A collaboration model in which a company transfers its technology, procedures, and quality systems on a paid or conditional basis, enabling the partner company to independently manufacture or participate in tenders

☼ Joint Research and Development Collaboration (R&D)
A collaboration model in which both companies share technological development goals and resources to jointly develop new technologies and products

☼ Tender Advisory Collaboration
A collaboration model in which specialized advisory support is provided on KHNP’s quality and technical requirements, enabling partner companies to secure eligibility for tender participation
